Also, Spiritual tourism is emerging due to yoga and meditation. The westerns have a strong feeling that India, the land of Buddha can offer them salvation. On top of it is Medical tourism. As medical treatment is cheap and these are alternate methods of cure .
It can’t be ignored that tourism generates employment and boosts up economy of India. But the threat to wild life, the natural lifestyle of the tribals and greenery is a major concern.
